The only LRF’s that GTS supports to work along with the 500SE-M Tactical GPS camera are the TruPulse 200 & 360. Theoretically, other manufactured range finders with a BlueTooth capability could work with the 500SE-M if the installed firmware allowed the camera’s BlueTooth to remain enabled. With the camera’s BT disabled, thereby allowing its fielding with the US military in combat zones, the only LRF currently compatible with the 500SE-M is the TruPulse by way of a coiled cable connection relaying the distance and/or compass information to the camera.
Occasionally we have tactical customers who do not require or wish not to have the BT disabled thereby allowing a wireless transfer of information between the LRF and 500SE-M. If this is a distinct need of yours and your mission, please contact GTS directly at
