I have several questions:
1) When I click on the link to download the firmware upgrade procedures, I am taken to a page that tells me that I am not logged in. When I try to log in again, I am told that I am supplying the wrong User ID and/or Password. So, my question is: How do I get the latest procedures for updating the firmware on my camera and my GPS?
2) How do I determine the latest firmware on my camera and my GPS?
3) Lastly, the last time that I used the camera, when I turned the camera on, it would get a GPS lock. It would then transition to "No Fix". Does any of the firmware upgrades address this problem?

1.) Login Issue: on the login page you may click on the “Forgot login?” link which will take you to the option to recover your username and/or password. You will need the email address you originally registered with in order to recover your account information. You may always create a new user account as well.
Once you have recovered your account information you will then be able to download the “500SE-M Firmware Upgrade Procedures” document.
2.) Determining camera’s current firmware: To do this requires a simultaneous button push which will bring up the details of the camera’s operating system. 1. Select the microphone setting on the round mode dial on the top of the camera. 2. Simultaneously hold down the Zoom-In (right zoom button), the down arrow/macro setting (flower button) while you power the camera on. Remember to hold all buttons down continuously until you see the screen appear on the LCD. You will see the following:
JC1: TYPE 31
CPU1: V 1.00
CPU2: V X.XX <-- This line will indicate your current firmware version.
MON: V 1.00 …and so on.
The latest firmware version is V3.66 and can also be found on the same Support page as the rest of our support materials: geotacticalsolutions.com/index.php/support
3.) “No Fix”: The latest firmware v.3.66 does correct the bug you were seeing thanks to the quick feedback/reporting of this bug by our Marine Corps brethren.

Wow, that's a lot of code! Our IT guys are working on that issue for you/us.
I will email you the items you need in the mean time. If you do not see an email from MKidd in the very near future, let me know, 24/7. In that email I included your username, temporary password and the associated email account. Try to login as normal with that info.
